There is a phrase we music industry types use to describe the failure of an artist’s second album release, following a hugely successful debut: The Sophmore Slump.
Well, you can now apply that terminology to Tennesee Titans second year QB Vince Young. Apparently, as a last bit of rookie hazing, no one bothered to inform Vinny about The Madden Curse. So thanks to Mr. Cockyrookieoftheyearshowmethemoneypants, The Titans 2008 season is officially shot before it even begins.
Oh, an added bonus: We just signed Tim Rattay! Wooo-hooo! Hey, at least we’ll get the first round pick in April 2008! Lucky!!!!
