And Now For Your Extended BIYForecast: Expect An Autumn Wind To Blow Across The Frozen Tundra For The Next 17-21 Weeks
Because I'm Your Father | September 7Shh. Listen. Can you hear it? Be still. Do you feel it? Close your eyes. Open your arms. Embrace the feeling. Oh, how it begins to blow. So swiftly. So strongly. So determined. It is pure. It is perfect.
BOO-YA! It is football time once again my fellow baby’s daddies! Thank. Christ.
I know there are several freaks of humanity out there that still care about baseball. Hell, some of you actually enjoy it! Seroiusly. Dudes. C’MON! Is that really what you want on your SportsCenter every night. I don’t even need to say it. George… they’re all yours.
Hello Amstel Light. Hello Cheetos. Hello Mr. Wingo, Salisbury, Boomer. Hello John, Al, Troy, JB. So good see you all again. I’m ready. Let us begin…

(Breaking the Interwebs Repeating Post Rule: Section 6, Subsection C, Paragraph 1, line 14… I’ve repeated this post over at my joint… sue me… Also, I know this has nothing to do with being a dad, or babies… but for Crikey sakes (RIP mate) it’s FOOTBALL SEASON DAMMIT)

To me, football season means it’s time to come inside and relax. No more yard work, backyard projects, etc. I mostly follow college football, but enjoy the occasional pro game. We’re heading to our first game of the year in a few weeks at my alma mater. Fun stuff. My kids like the cotton candy and hot dogs more than the game, but that will change in time.
Here, here! I’ll be rootin for the Hawks each week (even on BYE, just because!). Only 2 more days and…down with Detroit. My 2 year old daughter would sit with me during some of the games last year and I hope to start a father/daughter tradition. ;-)
To me, the start of Football season means that Hockey season is almost here. I do plan on watching to see if The Rams are any good with the new coaching staff but other than that not much interest except to show off my 110″ picture from my projector. (ceiling mounted projectors are the cheapest way to go for big TV, if you have a room that can handle it)
