A panda parenting pornucopia!

Mr. Nice Guy | February 21

you can't handle the cute!I think it’s time for a feel-good story, don’t you?

Well here you go: Tai Shan, a 7-month-old panda cub at the National Zoo has just recognized his father for the first time.

Key line: “Stevens said both the cub and his father have shown signs of an awareness of each other’s scents …”

You know what’s funny? That’s exactly how my dad and I recognize each other to this very day!

So, in conclusion: Pandas … Pups … Papas … Panda pups and their papas. Man! It just doesn’t get any more packed with parent-porn pleasure than this, people.

4 beefs about A panda parenting pornucopia!

  1. I have found that my own children only started to become aware of me at that age. What did I have to offer? Or is the question What didn’t I have to offer?

  2. I can’t help be reminded of the Nick Park short, “Creature Comforts,” where various animals in a zoo are interviewed about their lives. Among the subjects they hit on are what they eat, their cramped and smelly quarters, and what they miss about their normal habitat. Oh, sorry, was this supposed to be a feel-good post? My mistake. Carry on.

  3. Don’t tell Robin Roth (Contract Hits) about this. H.A. Rey and The Man in the Yellow Hat have nothing on the evil evil people who are Exploiting these Animal Slaves to Promote the Neo-Con/Parentist Agenda.

  4. Bow-chicka-bow-bow… awwww yeah.
