However, on this February morning, on the North Side of the Interwebs, thirteen well-spoken dads can be found riddled with adjectives and double-entendre inside the blogosphere. We are no different than other dads, responsible for our wives and children. But we are dads who spend time with our families, and choose to write about it. We are The Blogfathers.

Every week on this site, we’ll be giving you our unique thoughts, insights, opinions, rants and raves, about being men of honor, and about this thing of ours called Fatherhood. But it won’t all be musciata - expect us to amuse you. Starting soon, we’ll be joined once a month by a different Goomah (that would be Mommy Blogger for you jamooks). These ladies will be giving you their special perspectives on things, so we’ll expect you to listen good. Finally, if you’ve got a beef, speak up. But remember that we can always give your comments the Moe Green Special.
Someday - and that day may never come - we may call upon you to do a service for us. But until that day, we hope you’ll accept this site as a gift for your Valentine’s Day, and the future.

Right on, I already read most of you guys on a regular basis anyhow, so it’ll be good times to have a 1-stop-shop for everyone’s gems of wisdom. One question though — what happened to NotForProfitDad? One of my favs and no posts there for a few months…sure hope to see him back in action soon!

Yay, fun. I’m so glad to have come across a group of humorous, thoughtful and well-spoken, er, well-written, dad bloggers. It’s so nice to see. As a stay-at-home dad in small-town PA, I start to feel like I must be the only one, it’s so nice to have a collection of peers (betters?) all in one place.
